Turkish-Islamic Union is a union of love. It is a union of affection, a union of hearts. The bases of this union are love, altruism, helping others, compassion, tolerance and understanding.

The Turkish-Islamic Union will not be an arbitrary, bureaucratic union. It will not be based on oppression in the sense of “Everyone must follow us, and those who lag behind must be enslaved.” It will exist to build world peace, not to engage in enmity or take revenge or as a threatening element. Through this union, members of all faiths will be able to worship freely and visit all those sites that are sacred to their particular faith, while their possessions, lives and honor will be under the protection of the Turkish-Islamic Union. Under this union, unbelievers and the irreligious will also live in peace and be free to express their opinions.
